Blue Cheese LogEnjoy this deliciously elegant and simple holday hors d' oeuvre at your next party...don't forget the Mettler Wine! Blue Cheese Log 1 Package (8 ounces) Cream Cheese,softened 1 cup shredded sharp white cheddar 3/4 cup crumbled Point Reyes Blue Cheese 2 teaspoons curry powder 1 tablespoon butter, softened 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese.Next, fold in the cheddar cheese and blue cheese. Cover and refridgerate for at least two hours.Meanwhile, in a pan saute the curry powder in the butter for 1 minute, then add the pecans, cooking and stirring for 2 minutes. Mix in parsley. Let cool. Take your cheese mixture from the refridgerator and roll into 2- 5 inch logs or one large log. Roll cheese log(s) in the pecan mixture coating evenly. Cover and refridgerate until ready to serve. Serve with crostini and a glass of Mettler Wine!
